Aviator Statue Fundraiser
Help us install an Aviator Statue at the Wildland Firefighter Monument located at NIFC in Boise, Idaho. The bronze statue will be an 8 foot depiction of an aviator, designed to represent all fliers whether pilot, aircrew, or aerial deployed firefighter. The Monument at NIFC currently contains several other bronze statues of wildland firefighters and has hundreds of ground level markers honoring wildland firefighters from around the nation; the aviation statue will be a great addition. Aviation fatalities make up over half of those who have lost their lives protecting our natural resources from wildland fire. Total costs are expected to be close to $100,000.
