The front of the sweatshirt has our memorial purple ribbon and an illustration of remembrance on the back that states that states "From the flames of hell to the gates of glory, going home."
This artwork was created by Merlin Orange, a Native American firefighter from Oklahoma the morning after Storm King 1994. He and his crew smudged and prayed over the art. The sale of this artwork was the seed money that started the Wildland Firefighter Monument at NIFC and the Wildland Firefighter Foundation.
